The HR software you need, without the extras you don't. Leave, claims and payroll — that's all we do. No need to pay for a long list of features your team never uses.
Just sign up and set it up yourself. No 30 mins sales calls or 1 day training sessions. Everyone gets all the features available, with no feature creep. You will never suddenly end up with an exorbitant bill at the end of the month.
1$1 is per user per month on the yearly plan, with a minimum of 3 users, and is a promotional price only until the end of 2026.
HRStuff is a simple app, so there is no feature gating for a more expensive tier. Everyone gets all features — payroll, leave and claims. There's no long rollout or training session needed to get you started either. Anyone with a PC, Mac or smartphone can use it straight away. We like to keep things simple to save you and ourselves time.
Upload your staff list and HRStuff shows you what will happen before it changes anything: who will be added, whose details will be updated and which rows need attention. You can check it all before confirming the import.
Employees see their available leave when they apply and can download their own payslips as PDFs. That means fewer routine questions landing in your HR inbox.
Each payroll month has one clear flow, and nothing reaches anybody until you say so. Staff only see their payslips once you publish them.
Choose your leave types, working week, pay day and approval rules inside HRStuff. You can set everything up yourself and make changes whenever you need to, without waiting for an implementation team.
Setup automations for payroll, leave or claims. Write, configure and automate recurring payroll line items with rules and actions, in a sentence. Every deduction, contribution, or allowance on a payslip comes from a rule you write yourself: who it applies to, and how the amount is calculated and applied. No code. No formulas. The rule reads like an ordinary sentence, and that sentence is what calculates your payslips.
When Residency is Foreign worker — do nothing.
When Age is at most 55 — deduct 8% of basic salary from the employee, and deduct 12% of basic salary from the employer.
For everyone: deduct 5% of basic salary from the employee, and deduct 7% of basic salary from the employer.
Apply a rule by age, residency, country, years of service, or one of many other conditions. Combine conditions with AND or OR operators to include exactly the right people. And then apply a deduction or contribution to people filtered by your rules.
One rule can calculate the employee deduction and the employer contribution at the same time, including which amount is rounded first. If written as two separate rules, the total comes out different.
For everyone: deduct 3.5% of gross pay above $30,000.00 from the employee, but never more than $350.00 in a year.
Each payslip amount shows which rule applied and every step in the calculation. If a figure looks wrong, correct the rule instead of typing over the result.
Most payroll software has a country's laws hard coded into it, and anything unusual means a quotation. But HRStuff's custom rule sets mean it can handle many countries' tax and social security policies. Singapore's social security scheme was the first we tested on, and its rules are tested against 8,400 combinations of residency, age, pay and date.
Payslips can draft themselves on a selected day and publish themselves on another. For a small company with simple, standardized payslips every month, the payslips take care of themselves. Leave and claims approvals can also be automated if you decide so.
If you don't want to setup payroll rules, every employee has a standardized payslip where you can just key in the numbers once, and forget about it for the rest of the year.
A manager approving leave never sees a salary. Access is controlled by each person's role, and the leave approver does not need to know another team member's salary.
Support access is read-only, requires a written reason and closes automatically after 30 minutes. Every session appears in your activity log, so you can see that it happened, when and why.
Every customer gets every feature, whichever way they pay. There are no higher tiers and no essential tools held back for an upgrade. The list below is not a menu to choose from — it is what our price buys.
These are introductory prices, and they hold until the end of 2026. We would rather say that here than have you find it out from a bill.
Applying, balances, entitlements and leave types.
Leave routes to a named manager instead of everything landing on HR.
A holiday calendar that drops out of the leave day count.
Claims with the receipt attached, approved and marked paid.
Drafting, checking and publishing the month — and the rules that make every figure on it.
Employee records, contracts and letters, and an append-only log of what was done.
Write them, and change them the day your law does, as often as you like.
Minimum of 3 people. Nothing else is metered: not how many payslips you publish, not how many rules you write, not how many leave requests your staff put in.
HRStuff works out the figures and produces the payslips. Submitting to your tax authority stays with you. We would rather say so plainly than have you find out when billing comes.
Payroll rules are settings you control, and you are responsible for making sure the rules you enter are correct and updated. HRStuff applies them consistently and shows you exactly how every amount was calculated.
There is no clock-in, no timesheets and no shift rosters. Pay comes from the salary on someone's record rather than the hours they worked, so if your people are paid by the hour, HRStuff is the wrong shape for you.
No appraisal cycles, no goals, no one-to-ones, and no hiring or training records either. HRStuff handles the paperwork of employing people. Managing them is still your job.
Create your company, bring your staff list in from a spreadsheet, write your first rules and check a month against your real figures. If it does not come out right you have lost an afternoon, not a procurement cycle.
Figures shown on this page are an example. Statutory rates must be verified against your own authority before your first payroll run.
