Find answers in HRStuff Help and the Knowledge Base
Use in-product Help for permissions and common problems, or open a detailed public guide for a specific task.
What this guide helps you do
HRStuff has two kinds of written help. The Help page inside the app explains the pages and permissions available to the person who is signed in. The public Knowledge Base contains longer, shareable instructions for individual tasks.
Use Help when you want to know what your role can do or where to find something in your company account. Use the Knowledge Base for complete instructions, explanations of unfamiliar fields or a guide you can share.
Use Help inside your company account
An employee is shown help for personal tasks such as leave, claims, payslips, documents, notifications and account access.
A manager receives team and approval guidance only when their role and reporting line provide that access.
An HR administrator sees the company administration guidance. Help does not describe a module that is unavailable to the company.
If a colleague can see an instruction that you cannot, compare roles and reporting lines before treating the missing page as a fault.
Sign in to HRStuff
Help is a private in-app page. A signed-out visitor is sent to the sign-in page because the answers are selected for the current role and company.
Choose Help from the SUPPORT section
The SUPPORT section is near the bottom of the left navigation. Help opens a contents list grouped in the same general order as the app navigation.
Search the page or choose a topic
Type a word or part of a word into Search this page. Results come from the guidance already on the page and link directly to the matching section. Clear the search to browse the complete contents list again.
Use the public Knowledge Base for a complete task guide
Open Resources → Knowledge Base
The Knowledge Base is public. It can be opened before signing in and its articles can be shared with a colleague.
Search for the job you need to complete
Search matches article titles, summaries and keywords. Choose a suggestion to open the article. Searching does not change or search any company records.
Browse by category when you do not know the article name
Choose a category in In this library. The page scrolls to that section while keeping every other category available below it.
Use the article contents
Each article has its own web address and an In this guide list. Choose a section to go directly to the part you need.
Choose the most useful starting point
Use Help for “What can I do with my role?” or “Where is this in my company account?”
Use the Knowledge Base for “How do I complete this task from beginning to end?” or “What does this field or status mean?”
Use the relevant page in HRStuff to confirm the final labels and available choices. A guide cannot grant access or replace a company setting.
Company policies, employment rules, tax requirements and accounting decisions still belong to your company and its advisers. Product guidance explains HRStuff rather than deciding those matters.
Contact HRStuff when the written answer is not enough
If you are signed in, choose Contact Us from the SUPPORT section. Use Report a Bug for something that failed, or Request a Feature for a job HRStuff does not yet support well.
If you cannot sign in or do not yet have an account, use the public Contact page instead.
Include the task you were doing, the page you were on and the result you expected. For a fault, the signed-in form records the current HRStuff version automatically.
